The Joshua Ministries was established as a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization, incorporated on August 1, 2001. It was born out of a vision to place the outreach ministries of Walls Memorial CME Church under one umbrella and broaden the scope of service delivery.
The Joshua Minsitries is organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. More specifically, The Joshua Ministries is organized for the relief of the poor and distressed through beneficial services (such as a youth program, homelesss shelter, and food pantry) and for combating community deterioration through the construction and rehabilitation of housing for low income residents of the west side of Chicago.
